PAT’s impact in July!

With the large number of homeless animals on Thailand’s streets, sterilisation is the most humane method for controlling the population. Without this intervention, street-born puppies often face severe challenges such as accidents, starvation, and disease. Sterilisation, also known as neutering or spaying, helps manage stray populations and prevents significant suffering.

At the People and Animals Thailand (PAT) Clinic, each day is busy with activity. We’re excited to share that in July, our dedicated team successfully sterilised 202 dogs and 38 cats in Cha Am and Hua Hin.

In addition to sterilisation, our clinic administered 363 vaccines, including essential rabies shots. This is crucial for preventing infectious diseases in Southeast Asia, protecting both animals and humans.

We also provided supplementary food to 22 vulnerable puppies and dogs. Additionally, 296 dogs received deworming and parasite treatments, 40 were treated for mange and other skin issues, and urgent care was given to five dogs in critical need.
