In two days, 50 animals were sterilised and vaccinated to prevent further stray population growth. We treated 11 for skin issues, fleas, and ticks, and gave 9 dogs parasite medication. We’re also supplying food to community feeders for several months.
Mobile Clinic at Rai Mai Pattana
Last week, our mobile clinic in Rai Mai Pattana provided vital care to 91 stray and community dogs. Alongside sterilisation and vaccinations, every animal received parasite treatment, and several were treated for wounds, ongoing medical conditions, and skin issues. Many were heavily infested with ticks and fleas and in urgent need of help.
Another heartfelt thank you goes out to Dr. Boss and Bank from DLD (Department of Livestock Development) Cha-Am, Khun Yo from Rai Mai Pattana Municipality, and the amazing vet students from Kasetsart University for their support and dedication.
With so many homeless animals living on the streets of Thailand, sterilisation remains the most compassionate and effective way to control the population. Every year, countless puppies and kittens born on the streets face a tragic fate — many don’t survive beyond a few weeks due to traffic accidents, starvation, or disease.
By neutering and spaying, we can prevent this suffering before it starts, while also improving the long-term health and wellbeing of each animal we help.
