Success as the PAT clinic expands to a new area for sterilisation and vaccination of stray animals.
PAT collaborates with WFFT for special CNVR event
On October 25-26, 2024, we joined forces with Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT) for a special CNVR (Catch, Neuter, Vaccinate and Return) event aimed at neutering and vaccinating as many local dogs as possible.
Over two days, our team sterilised and vaccinated a total of 41 dogs and cats, most of whom are roaming or stray animals living very difficult lives. Alongside sterilisation and vaccination, every dog was treated for parasites, and several dogs received treatment for wounds, other medical issues, and skin problems. Many were heavily infested with ticks and fleas.
With the high number of homeless animals on Thailand’s streets, sterilisation is the most humane way to manage and reduce the population. Countless street-born puppies and kittens die within weeks of birth—becoming victims of road accidents, starvation, and disease. Sterilisation (neutering and spaying) not only alleviates immense suffering, but also significantly improves each animal’s welfare.
Your support is vital to our mission. Any donation, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference and helps more street animals in need.
