PAT NEWS: Love is not always the best medicine: sometimes it’s antibiotics or anti parasitics

ในวันหยุดทีมงาน PAT ได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมโครงการชุมชนท้องถิ่นซึ่งดำเนินการโดยเจ้าหน้าที่ของเรา คุณหมิวได้เปลี่ยนบ้านหลังเล็กของเธอกลายเป็นที่พักพิงให้กับสุนัขจรจัดมากกว่า 100 ชีวิต สวรรค์เล็กๆ ที่มีกำแพงล้อมรอบแห่งนี้ข้างในนั้นมีแต่ความรัก ความรักนั้นมักทำให้คนตาบอดจนทำอะไรโง่ๆ ที่มักทำให้สัตว์เจ็บตัว ดีนะที่ที่นี่ไม่เป็น

เราต้องขอขอบคุณคนในพื้นที่และพลังของโซเชียลมีเดียที่มีส่วนร่วมสนับสนุนให้คุณหมิวสามารถดูแลสัตว์ของเธอต่อไปได้ เธอได้เปิดบ้านของเธอให้กับหมาจรจัดให้พื้นที่และดูแลทุกตัวด้วยความรัก ทางคลินิกสงเคราะห์สัตว์จึงได้ช่วยทำหมันและฉีดวัคซีนให้สุนัขของเธอเพื่อให้พวกเขามีสุขภาพที่เเข็งเเรง นอกจากนั้นยังบริจาคยาป้องกันเห็บหมัดเพื่อเป็นการช่วยเหลือสัตว์เหล่านี้อีกด้วย

On a rare day off from desexing and vaccinating street dogs and cats the PAT team volunteered to visit a local community project run by one our regular rescuers. Khun Mew has literally turned her small home over to 100 plus dogs to whom she gives shelter.

This tiny walled sanctuary in the most rural of locations was a challenge to even find. Inside there was no shortage of love. It is very easy for kind hearted souls to find themselves overwhelmed. Love can often blind people into creating situations where they cannot cope and resulting in animals suffering. Thankfully that was not the case here.

Thanks to the support of her local community and the power of social media khun Mew is able to care for her animals. She has embraced the PAT clinic to ensure her street dogs are all desexed and vaccinated. She has gone beyond her home to bring in dogs from the local area where she goes and feeds them every day. The PAT team were able to take donated medicines and flea and tick products to treat these animals.

Nearly expired products were put to good use and help make their lives a little better. The generosity of Thailand’s animal loving community is overwhelming and much appreciated. We hope to be able to continue help Khun Mew and the many people like her for a long time to come. Thank you all for helping us.
